Psycle - New Version - Free

The next beta version of Psycle is ready. Psycle 1.11.2 can be found in Sourceforge
in 32bit and 64bits::

This new release contains bugfixes for several problems that existed in the first beta.
Notoriously, several crashes and hangs, but also smaller ones.

Development is now focused in improving some corner cases of Sampulse and Lua,
and update the help file in preparation for the release, which should happen in
spring or summer.

As such, I encourage people to test it and to suggest changes and fixes that are needed,
as well as to try the new features and ask for places of improvement.

Pitchproof 1.0 VST for Windows - Free

This plug-in provides pitch shifting effects that can be wet or combined
with the dry signal. The effect is meant to combine old styles of pitch shifting
with the quality you expect from modern plug-ins. It is basically a guitar harmonizer
simulation that has most of what is great about guitar harmonizer pedals,
and still preserves the signal's integrity.

You can select pitches like +7 or -7, or harmonies. These harmonies intelligently
shift pitch to harmonize with the note you play. The plug-in works best with signals
that are not polyphonic, but is suitable for guitar solos and such.

This is a free VST plugin and has Windows 32- and 64-bit versions.

Arachno SoundFont - Free

Arachno SoundFont

Arachno SoundFont is a General MIDI-compliant bank of 128 instruments ("presets")
and 9 GM/GS drumkits, aimed at enhancing the realism of your MIDI files and arrangements.
It's meant to be used with a SoundFont 2.x-compatible MIDI synthesizer, either hardware
(eg. Sound Blaster Live!/Audigy/X-Fi) or software (like SynthFont). This documentation will
explain you how to use Arachno SoundFont bank, from loading it into your SoundFont synthesizer,
to the playback and recording of MIDI files.

This SoundFont project has first started somewhere in mid-2003, as a modified version of
the Magic SoundFont, by Dennis Deutschmann, for my own MIDI listening purposes.
Acquiring solid SoundFont editing experience over the years, I replaced many of its original
presets with new samples and instruments from various sources, giving birth to my own
custom SoundFont bank, Arachno SoundFont. After leaving this bank unmodified for over
three years (since May 17, 2007) for many reasons, I finally found the time to write this
documentation and release it for the first time on the internet, as "freeware" work.


Recommended:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4/D/Core or AMD Athlon/Phenom, 1 GHz or better
RAM: 1 GB or higher, to use other applications while keeping Arachno SoundFont loaded
in RAM permanently
Hard Disk: 500 MB or more free hard disk space is strongly recommended, especially for recording
Soundcard: SoundFont 2.x-compatible EMU10K1 (SB Live!, E-MU APS), EMU10K2 (Audigy),
EMU20K1 or EMU20K2 (X-Fi) processor-based soundcard for hardware SoundFont playback support,
or any DirectSound-compatible device if you only use software SoundFont 2.x players/synthesizers/samplers (eg. SynthFont)
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 or better for hardware SoundFont support,
or any other OS for software SoundFont support, depending of your SoundFont
player/synthesizer/sampler.

Tunefish Synth V4 Final for Mac-Windows - Free

 Tunefish is a very tiny virtual analog synthesizer. It is developed to fit
into about 10kb of compressed machine code while still producing an audio quality
that can compete with commercial synthesizers. This site was created to make
the VST/AU version of it available to the public. This plugin, unlike the version
of TF which is used in 64k intros of our group Brain Control is of course larger,
mainly because it has a UI and uses the excellent Juce framework for C++.
(This is true for v4. v3 uses Qt and v2 uses the VSTGUI library.)

The synth is free but comes without any warranties. It is tested on Renoise but if
you want to use it with different DAWs, please do so and let us know about your experience.
Tunefish is an ongoing project under active development so if you have any comments or
wishes, please let us know. Also, if you make some music with it or create soundbanks

MIDI Polysher - Midi Filter Free

MIDI Polysher is a free VST plugin primarly designed for eaReckon BloXpander
users (but it works with other compatible VST host software).
BloXpander is now provided with its own full-featured MIDI filter and therefore,
BloXpander users do not really need this plug-in anymore.

However, musicians have shown interest for this plug-in which can be used in
other VST DAWs.
This is why MIDI Polysher was rebuilt from scratch and it is now available as
32/64-bit VST plug-in for both Windows and Mac OSX.

With multiple instances of MIDI Polysher loaded into your DAW, you can create
"zones" and control several instruments from a same MIDI keyboard (or controller).
For example, you can link the upper keys of your master keyboard to a virtual piano
